Les Gourgoules
91 / 100 An enticing purply-red, les Gourgoules shows typically Corbières aromas of raspberries, mulberries and garrigue. You can all but smell the dry, herby soil of the vineyards. Mid-weight with a lovely silky palate-feel, this well-balanced wine offers plenty of red & dark fruit flavours. It is neither very complex nor very long, but is nevertheless an excellent sample of terroir-driven wine from the Languedoc.
